Jared Gruber is the Broker of Record and Founder of JG Real Estate. With a diverse transactional and professional background Jared helps his clients navigate the complexities of real estate transactions – sales, leasing, & property management.
When founding JGRE, Jared recognized a void in the marketplace – the need for a truly full service real estate brokerage. Having emerged as the leader in the Philadelphia Property Management space his vision has come true. Bringing a deal together is the most satisfying thing to him. Whether the deal is a complex purchase transaction or a new property management account, his goal is the same – to conduct business in a responsible and ethical way which ultimately benefits all parties involved. When Jared isn’t working he’s enjoying time with his family. If you live in Fishtown you might see him at Penn Treaty park pushing his daughter at the swing sets or walking his dogs.

Gwen, a licensed broker, is the Director of Operations for JG Real Estate and oversees all aspects of the business. A lover of photography, art and architecture, she enjoys the variety that homes in different Philly neighborhoods can offer and seeks to highlight each property’s unique details and features. In the past, she has moved about 8 different times within 3 years (including 3 different states) before finally settling down for good in Philadelphia, so she knows first hand how stressful the housing search process can be and tries to ensure that every one of our clients has the smoothest experience possible.
She has successfully closed multiple sales in the Northern Liberties, Fishtown, Point Breeze and South Philly neighborhoods, specializing in buyer representation for first time home buyers.

Ariel Morgenstein studied at Syracuse University and received her B.A. in 2009. Majoring in Psychology, Ariel was propelled towards working with people and satisfying their specific needs. Her professional career has consisted of both education and business. As Listing Manager, Ariel utilizes her vast knowledge of Philadelphia’s diverse neighborhoods to fulfill her client’s short term and long term goals, whether they be buyers or sellers. Her experience and natural intuition contribute to her success in closing sales.
Operations Coordinator | Licensed Agent

Claire, our Operations Coordinator, moved to Philadelphia 11 years ago after receiving her BA in Communication from the University of Scranton. Before joining the JG team, she worked in a number of different fields. She was a bookseller, a restaurant event planner/manager and an ad sales and distribution manager for local publications. She became interested in real estate after purchasing her first home in Fishtown. She’s known for her follow through and attention to detail. She enjoys walking management clients through our process and making sure owners and tenants are set up with all the information they need. She recently got her real estate license and looks forward to showing homes and helping people with their search. She loves cooking and taking road trips outside of the city to visit wineries and breweries. When she’s not at work, she’s either playing drums at a local club, checking out the newest Philly dining scene additions or grilling at Penn Treaty Park.

Chris, one of our property managers, has the perfect combination of customer service administration and hands-on repair skills. Originally from the Jersey shore, he came to Philadelphia to attend La Salle University and loved the city so much he decided to make it his permanent home after graduating. He himself is a landlord of a couple of properties in North Philly so he came to us with first-hand knowledge on how to best deal with property maintenance issues and tenant expectations from a landlord’s point of view. He is knowledgeable in the Philadelphia maintenance code requirements as well as many aspects surrounding basic carpentry, HVAC, plumbing and electrical, so he can often diagnose issues right away, an invaluable trait in this business. Before coming to JG Real Estate, he worked as an analyst at a supply chain consulting firm and when he is not working, he spends his time doing home improvement projects, working on his old car and finding new places to eat.
Administrative Assistant | Licensed Agent
A Philly transplant (and enthusiast), Erika has lived in several cities on the east coast between the northern Adirondack region and Central Florida. These experiences have given her an understanding of the housing search, whether it is a move around the corner or one of more than 1,000 miles. Though she has moved around a lot, she loves having a warm and welcoming place to call home. She is the first point of contact when you reach out to JG Real Estate, and is excited to help you have an excellent experience finding a place in Philadelphia to call your own!
Property Management Coordinator
Born and raised in Northeast Philadelphia, Danielle has become increasingly interested in the booming real estate development within the city. As the Property Management Coordinator at JG Real Estate, she is the first contact when tenants have maintenance requests and she works extremely hard to make sure that problems are solved efficiently and correctly. Her past experience in marketing and sales has greatly contributed to her customer service abilities in communicating directly with all clients. Compassionate, friendly and trustworthy, she has cultivated and managed relationships among vendors, landlords, and tenants. She is currently working toward obtaining her real estate salesperson’s license. When she is not at work, Danielle is usually out and about exploring the outdoors, enjoying live music events, hiking, and also traveling with her family.

Pat, one of our property managers, has been working in the real estate and property management business since 2008. Prior to joining JG Real Estate, he had been with a management company in the Main Line doing everything from property management to maintenance, leasing and accounting. Shortly after graduating college with a degree in Accounting, he realized that he was not meant to sit in an office all day. Pat has a knack for figuring things out. Whether its a large scale project like finding a leak in a newly constructed condo’s green roof, or smaller scale tinkering with garbage disposal malfunctions, Pat is a problem solver while simultaneously maintaining professionalism and courtesy with owners, tenants and vendors. Responsive, reliable and hardworking, Pat loves seeing new properties and has no fear about facing new challenges – he welcomes them.
Leasing Manager | Licensed Agent
Charles is new to the JG Real Estate team and he is very excited and motivated to bring new business and growth to us. He was educated at Temple University, studying both Real Estate and Business, and has lived in Philadelphia for over six years. Charles has a vast knowledge of the city and its unique and distinct neighborhoods. He is specializing in sales, leasing, and investment opportunities. As a Licensed Real Estate Agent specializing in these areas, Charles strives to ensure each client a stress-free and positive experience. Jason Luber, one of our leasing agents, came to JG Real Estate with 3 years of experience as a licensed realtor within the city. Having previously lived in Northeast Philly, South Jersey, Bucks County and Center City, he is truly an expert on the Greater Philadelphia area and specifically on the differences among the various Center City neighborhoods. Although he has experience with sales, Jason is a rental expert and loves turning the stress of moving into an easy experience for everyone. He is a rental matchmaker for clients ranging from college roommates looking for an off campus experience to company CEOs in search of their glass apartment in the sky. He is also a talented musician/producer/songwriter and when he is not working, he enjoys seeing live music at one of the many city venues.
Audrey is our newest team member and comes to us with educational and professional experience in Business Marketing, Photography and Videography. She’s in charge of managing all the individual listing advertisements, outbound marketing campaigns and JG’s social media presence. Strong in personality & opinion while incredibly thoughtful, she turns concepts into stunning visuals with ease. Whether it be a $700/month studio rental or $1.5 million sale, she treats each property with respect and makes it look its best. Outside of work, she loves going to shows at Union Transfer, Johnny Brenda’s, TLA, and World Cafe Live, as well as checking out vintage shops and record stores along South Street. Originally from a rural town in Southern New Jersey, she’s currently in the process of buying her first home in Norristown with her husband and her two hairless cats.
Denise is a licensed real estate agent practicing in the greater Philadelphia area. She has lived in Philadelphia for 18 years where she received her Doctorate of Pharmacy degree from the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia. After discovering her passion for real estate, Denise went on to receive her real estate license and now works with clients in the sales division in and around the city. In her spare time, Denise continues to grow her personal property management experience with several multifamily properties she owns with her husband.
